Salad Dressing Recipes- Fuel to Thrive

Here are some recipes from Amy at Fuel to Thrive to encourage clean condiments during our first week of Build the Base. Thanks Amy!

Salad Dressings

Cilantro Avocado Dressing

- ½ avocado

- 1 Tbs Spirulina

- 1 Tbs Olive Oil

- 1 Tsp Dulse Flakes

- ½ Lemon (juiced)

- ½ cup water

- ¼ cup sunflower seeds

Directions: Blend all the ingredients together until smooth


Tzatziki Sauce

- 1 cup Almond or Greek Yogurt

- 1 Tbs Olive Oil

- 2 Tbs Lemon Juice

- 1 Garlic Clove (chopped)

- 1 tsp Fresh Dill (chopped)

- 1 tsp Black Pepper

- ¼ cup Tomato (seeded & diced)

- ¼ cup Cucumber (seeded & diced)

Directions:

1. Blend all ingredients (except tomato & cucumber) until smooth

2. Add tomato & cucumber and stir sauce until sauce is well mixed

3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour


Creamy Italian Dressing

- 1 cup Plain Almond or Greek Yogurt

- 3 Tbs white rice vinegar

- 1 Shallot (minced)

- Drop/drizzle of honey

- 1 tsp Oregano

- ½ tsp Basil

- 1 Garlic Clove (pressed)

Directions: Blend all the ingredients together until smooth
