Summer League 2018: Day 1

Workout 1:
(P1/P2)
60 partner wall balls
50 hang cleans
40 T2B
30 syncro burpees OTB

(P3/P4)
60 partner wall balls
50 hang cleans
40 T2B
30 syncro burpees OTB

15 minute time cap

-only one athlete working at a time. You may split up the reps however your team decides, as long as the work is getting done.

-pairs must be F/F and M/M. Your team can decide who goes first.

-once P1 and P2 finish the T2B and get to the burpees, P3 and P4 can then start on their wall balls.

-partner wall balls: both athletes must squat during every rep. If P1 is doing the wall balls, P2 is doing an air squat at the same time.

-hang cleans: bar must come to a complete stop at the hips before going into the first rep. The bar cannot be pulled from the ground into a power clean for the rep to start.

-T2B: reps can be split up however you please. While one athlete is working on the T2B, the other athlete must be hanging from the pull up bar. If athlete 1 is hanging from the bar and drops, athlete 2 must stop their T2B until they are both ready to continue their reps and hang.

-syncro burpees: no matter what I say about this movement, only 2% of athletes will follow instructions, but here it is anyways. Athletes chests must touch the ground at the same time. If athlete 1's chest touches before athlete 2, then wait for athlete 2's chest to touch before you come up from the ground. Capeesh? Also, both athletes must jump four feet over the bar (2 feet + 2 feet = 4 feet) at the same time. Rep ends once both athletes are on the other side of the bar where the rep started. You do not split up these reps. 30 total.

-score will be time it took to complete the workout. If you get time capped, the amount of reps not competed will be added to the 15 minutes.

SCALING:
-if one athlete cannot do the weight prescribed, the weight they take off must be put on another teammates bar.

-if one athlete needs to scale the T2B, they must double the reps.

Workout 2:

time cap: 7 minutes
transition time: 3 minutes
then..
(P3/P4)
6 rounds
5 clusters
10 burpee box jumps
F: 85, 95, 105
M: 115,135, 165
(P1/P2)
ME AAB calories
time cap: 10 minutes (20 minutes total)

-each athlete will complete three rounds individually. P1 will do 5 thrusters and 10 box jump overs, then P2 will go complete the next round after P1 finishes- and will continue once 6 rounds has been complete. P1 and P2 can be either M/M, F/F, or M/F. While P1 and P2 are completing the 6 sounds, P3 and P4 are working at ME calories on the AAB. P3 and P4 can switch on the bike at anytime, only one athlete working at a time. Once P1 and P2 completes the first part of the workout, there will be a 3 minute transition time for changing weights. P3 and P4 will then start on the clusters and burpee box jumps once the clock hits 10 minutes. They will rotate rounds, one athlete working at a time to complete 6 rounds total. during this time, P1 and P2 will now be working on the bike to accumulate ME calories in addition to the calories that P3 and P4 biked in part 1.

-if P1 and P2 finish early, they have more time to rest. P3 and P4 will be biking until the 7 minutes is up.

-combined times between the 12 rounds will be the first score, and the other two scores will be total AAB calories by P1 and P2 and total AAB calories by P3 and P4.

SCALING:
-if one athlete cannot do the weight prescribed, the weight they take off must be put on another teammates bar.
